Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel announced that the Ministry of Finance will allocate an additional NIS 20 million to higher education institutions in Judea and Samaria.
According to the minister, this move aims to bring the universities in Judea and Samaria on par with all other educational institutions in Israel, which receive funding and grants from international funds, among other sources.
It also should compensate for the losses incurred by research institutions that are not included in international funding agreements and do not have the opportunity to receive grants due to their location.
