On January 3, IDF forces, Shin Bet security service, and Border Police arrested 18 suspects involved in terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria. Shin Bet investigators will question the detainees.

The IDF spokesperson reports that the main operations were conducted in the Noor Al-Sham refugee camp, which is situated east of Tulkarm. Dozens of residents were detained there for questioning, six of whom were arrested. Additionally, weapons were confiscated. According to Palestinian sources, an Air Force drone was directed towards a group of militants who were throwing explosive devices at military personnel. The operation in Noor Al-Sham is ongoing.

Also, terror suspects were detained in Qalqilya, where weapons were also found and confiscated. There were no Israeli military casualties during these operations.

Since the beginning of the war on October 7, over 2570 terror suspects have been arrested in the Palestinian Authority territories, with approximately 1300 of them linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.
