The head of the Kehilat Bnei Torah community in the Arnona neighborhood of Jerusalem, Yitzchak Mordechai Rubin, issued a warning about the possibility of a widescale war breaking out in the north of Israel. In a letter to community members, Rabbi Rubin mentioned the instruction to stock up on electric generators, which was recently given to families with seriously ill members.

Rabbi Rubin emphasized that the Jewish people are facing an impending danger and, therefore, need to take action on two fronts. Firstly, we must understand that everything in the world happens by the will of God: "He has struck us, but He will bandage us" (Book of the Prophet Hosea 6:1). Secondly, we must believe that prayers and repentance can change the situation for the better.

Rabbi Rubin called on community members to organize individual and communal prayers in the coming days.

The synagogue used by the Kehilat Bnei Torah community has an underground floor with an autonomous electricity generator. According to the Kikar HaShabbat website, the Home Front Command has agreed with the community leadership to use this facility in emergencies.
