In the wake of the deadly shooting on Route 1, Magen David Adom calls for people to donate blood starting tomorrow. Israel's national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance, and blood bank service wants to ensure that supplies don't run low in the event of further attacks.
Magen David Adom had reported a shortage of blood donations and made a statement in order to maintain the supply of required blood for transfusions.
Citizens can donate blood at MDA donation points throughout the country starting from February 23.
