On March 21, the IDF, Shin Bet security service, and Border Police detained 18 individuals suspected of terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria. Shin Bet investigators will question the suspects.

The operations took place in Tulkarm, Nablus, Kafr 'Aqab, Al-Khader, and Al-Bireh. Weapons were confiscated during the operations.

During the operations in Nablus and Kafr 'Aqab, five terrorists were eliminated. Airstrikes killed three operatives who were throwing explosive devices at Israeli soldiers. Two others were killed in a shootout.

In addition, several militants were injured in clashes with the military in the Al-Bireh area near Ramallah. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that one of them died in hospital.

There were no reported casualties among Israeli soldiers.

Since the beginning of the conflict on October 7, 2023, some 3600 individuals suspected of terrorism have been detained in the Palestinian Authority territories, with around 1600 of them linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.
