Police detained nine residents of the Palestinian Authority at a construction site in the Israeli Arab town of Jadeidi-Makr, located east of Acre in Western Galilee. These individuals lacked the necessary permission to work in Israel.
Additionally, a 25-year-old resident of Ar'ara was apprehended on suspicion of transporting illegal immigrants from the Palestinian Authority to work at construction sites in Israel.
Following questioning, the detainees will be brought before a court to determine whether their detention should be extended. Typically, individuals detained for illegal residency in Israel, without suspicion of other offenses by security forces, are returned to the Palestinian Authority.
