Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported, citing a member of the Iranian security service, that the Israeli attack on Isfahan was "limited" and showed that "Israel is avoiding escalation at this stage, as it fears a decisive response from Iran."
He stated that the Israeli attack "was of a smaller scale than the recent Iranian attack on Israel," indicating that "with the new balance of power, Tehran has an obvious advantage, but Iran does not currently want to escalate tensions in the region."
