Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Wednesday that Ankara is exploring options to join South Africa's genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

"From the first day South Africa decided to file the lawsuit, we supported this step and are monitoring developments. We have begun work to determine how and on what grounds we can join this lawsuit from a legal point of view," Fidan said in a joint press conference with Indonesia's Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi in Ankara.
