The Estonian Ministry of Defense has announced the arrival of a shipment of Blue Spear sea-to-sea missiles, manufactured by the Israeli state defense concern Aviation Industry, for its navy.

Blue Spear represents the fifth generation of Gabriel anti-ship missiles. It boasts a range of 200 kilometers, features two guidance systems, and possesses electronic warfare capabilities.

Estonia is now the third country to receive these new missiles, following Israel and Finland. Consequently, the navies of both Israel and Finland, which control the Gulf of Finland exit, will be equipped with them.

Additionally, there are plans to outfit the Singapore Navy's Formidable class frigates with Blue Spear missiles.
