Former Iranian judo team coach Vahid Sarlak expressed support for Israel following the Iranian attack, as reported by Israel Hayom.
He wrote, "As Iranians, we are fighting against the regime that governs our country. We harbor no ill will toward any nation, people, or religion. We stand with the Jewish people and Israelis; they are our friends."
Sarlak has since left Iran and is currently preparing a refugee team for the Paris Olympics.
