The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the triumphant results of the Annual Intermediate Examinations 2025, spotlighting exceptional performances by students in the Home Economics Group and the Special Candidates (Arts Regular) Group. The Special Candidates Group also witnessed outstanding achievements, as Syeda Fariyah from DEWA Higher Secondary School topped the group with 960 marks out of 1100. Her consistent efforts have inspired many, as she led her group with tenacity and hard work. Brira Islam and Eman Al Shams closely followed with impressive scores of 925 and 920 marks respectively, bringing cheer to their schools.
Statistical Breakdown and Pass Percentages
Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid announced that out of 198 registered candidates in the Home Economics Group, 189 appeared for the exams, with a pass percentage of 59.26%. Of these, 9 students were awarded A-1 grades, showing a commendable level of academic prowess across the board.
The Special Candidates Group exhibited an even higher success rate, with a 90.35% pass percentage. Among these successful candidates, 19 secured A-1 grades, a testament to the group’s overall excellence.
