The Office of Military Intelligence (AMAN), relying on information from IDF forces in Gaza and data on underground terrorist infrastructure, has determined the approximate cost of Hamas tunnels.

According to AMAN's estimates, constructing an extensive network of tunnels required over 6,000 tons of concrete and more than 1,800 tons of metal, with the cost of these materials estimated at tens of millions of US dollars.

The IDF press release emphasized, "Hamas chose to invest these valuable resources in creating a terrorist infrastructure intended for attacking civilians and military personnel in Israel, cynically exploiting the civilian population of the sector."
