The IDF announced that the Israeli Air Force is carrying out a “widespread” wave of airstrikes against terrorists in Lebanon. The airstrikes come after rockets were fired at Safed in northern Israel, killing an Israeli woman and injuring eight other people.

Previously, the IDF targeted rocket-launching sites in Lebanon.

Lebanese online media outlets reported that the IDF Air Force is currently targeting sites near Nabatieh and Tyre. Strikes have been conducted on locations in Jebchit, Souaneh, and Shehabieh, which are situated approximately 15 km from the border with Israel. The IDF has expanded the target engagement zone but has not struck any major cities in Lebanon yet.
