The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Major-General Ghassan Alian, accused the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) of artificially worsening the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

He reported that the contents of 500 trucks of humanitarian aid are still located near the Kerem Shalom border crossing on the Palestinian side, though they have passed security checks by Israeli authorities.

The distribution of this aid among the population is the responsibility of UNRWA staff.
