On Thursday, March 7, Israel's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 was finally approved.

Singer Eden Golan will perform the song "Hurricane," as reported by Ynet.

This decision was reached on March 3, as stated by the Israeli public television and radio corporation Kan.

The lyrics and title of Israel's entry were altered after Eurovision organizers prohibited the song "October Rain," citing its perceived "political context."

However, the melody remains unchanged.

Consequently, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) approved Israel's participation on the third attempt.
