Additional details have been reported regarding the terrorist attack at an Aroma branch at a gas station at the Beit Kama junction. The terrorist was a resident of the Bedouin city of Rahat.
According to surveillance camera footage, he attacked from behind a man in a military uniform, who managed to shoot the assailant before losing consciousness.
The attack was first reported at 14:05. The victim, who is in his 50s, was seriously wounded and taken by medics to Beersheba's Soroka Medical Center in critical condition. Another man, 65, was lightly wounded in the attack and was treated by medics at the scene.
