The IDF continues to operate in Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The army has released footage that shows Hamas operatives opening fire at troops from the medical center.
The IDF returned fire at the gunmen, killing and wounding several of them. One Israeli soldier was lightly injured in one of the exchanges of fire.
