The IDF has denied media reports and rumors circulating claiming that there had been an infiltration into Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip.
"Contrary to the circulating reports, there have been no attempts to breach into Israeli territory in the south of the country. IDF forces are deployed and prepared in the area," the IDF statement reads.
