The victim of this morning's rocket attack on the Kiryat Shmona industrial area has been identified as Zahar Bashara, 25, from the village of Ein Qiniya in the Palestinian Authority, located west of Ramallah.

Earlier, reports indicated that one person was critically injured due to the shelling of Kiryat Shmona today. Magen David Adom (MADA) confirmed the victim's death, stating that the 25-year-old worker, who was not a local resident, was killed and seriously injured when a rocket struck the production facility where he was situated.

Around 8 a.m., approximately 30 rockets were launched from Lebanon targeting Kiryat Shmona and its surroundings.

Hezbollah claims responsibility for the attack, citing it as retaliation for an IDF airstrike on an Islamic Medical Group center in al-Khabariyyah, resulting in the deaths of seven paramedics.
