IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari says senior Hamas commander Raad Thabet was eliminated during the ongoing operation at Gaza City's Shifa Hospital earlier today.
According to Israeli intelligence agencies, Raad Tabat was responsible for human resources and supply for the terror group and was considered among the top 10 most senior Hamas military commanders.
The deceased militant had maintained direct communication with top Hamas leaders Marwan Issa, Mohammed Deif, and Yahya Sinwar for many years. Issa has been eliminated by the IDF.
The Israel Defense Forces also released a video showing the destruction of a tunnel that stretched from the north of the sector to the southernmost part.
