A Hamas source informed the Saudi state-owned TV channel, Al-Arabiya, that the proposed agreement presented by the mediators includes clauses regarding a complete cessation of hostilities and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.

The channel's interviewee highlighted that these amendments were incorporated into the agreement text under US guarantees.

Khalil al-Hayya, Sinwar's deputy in the Gaza Strip, informed Al Jazeera that the deal approved by Hamas consists of three stages, with a permanent ceasefire outlined in the second stage of the agreement.
