Einav Zangauker, the mother of Matan Zangauker, who is held hostage by Hamas in Gaza, has been detained by police during a demonstration at the Kaplan Street intersection in Tel Aviv.
The circumstances of her detention have not been disclosed.
Protesters lit a bonfire at the protest site on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv. "Stop the war, bring back the hostages," demanded the crowd.
The police extinguished the bonfire, but the demonstrators soon relit it.
