On the night of February 21, Yemeni media reported that aircraft from the US and British air forces struck two Houthi targets in the port of Hudaydah.

The US Central Command (Centcom) has not yet provided any comment on this report.

A day earlier, on February 20, the US Department of Defense announced that a US MQ-9 reconnaissance drone was downed by Houthi forces off the coast of Yemen.

"I can confirm that on February 19th, an MQ-9 was shot down in the Red Sea, off the Houthi-controlled coast of Yemen. According to initial information, it was brought down by a surface-to-air missile," stated Sabrina Singh, deputy spokeswoman for the Department of Defense, during a briefing.
