Nabil Abu Rudeineh, a spokesman for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, stated that the USA will be responsible for the Israeli operation in Rafah and called on the American administration to do everything possible to prevent it.
According to the politician, the entry of Israeli troops into Rafah will be an act of genocide, and the USA has made it possible by providing "occupiers" with financial and military aid and torpedoing attempts to create a Palestinian state on the international stage.
"The invasion of Rafah means genocide, the massacre of 1.5 million Palestinians, their expulsion from their native land. The American administration must hold the occupiers accountable to the international community before it's too late," Nabil Abu Rudeineh said.
