Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz has signed a decree granting 1,000 Hajj invitations to relatives of Palestinians killed or injured in the war with Israel, as well as family members of Palestinian prisoners.

In total, 2,322 people will be guests of the Saudi royal house this year: 1,300 Muslims from 88 countries and 22 relatives of Siamese twins who underwent a successful separation operation in Saudi Arabia.

The Royal Hajj Invitation Program has been in place for 26 years and is administered by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Islam, Da'wah, and Guidance. A total of 60,000 invitations were issued.
