On the evening of March 10, Kan-11 TV premiered the song "Hurricane," which Eden Golan will perform at Eurovision. The music video was released on the YouTube channel of the Israeli state broadcaster.

Until March 7, Israel's participation in Eurovision was uncertain because the organizers rejected two versions of the Israeli participant's song.

The songs were deemed to contain a "political context." The organizers interpreted "October Rain" as a reference to the tragedy of October 7. Israel made two revisions to the lyrics while keeping the melody unchanged.

On the third attempt, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) approved both the song and Israel's participation in the competition.
