The IDF reports that in the last 24 hours, eight Israeli servicemen have died during battles in the Gaza sector.

NAMES OF THE DECEASED:

Sergeant David Bogdanovsky, 19, from Haifa, a fighter of the 603rd Engineering Battalion, 7th Brigade "Saar mi-Golan," died in combat in the southern part of the Gaza sector.

Sergeant Orel Bashan, 20, from Haifa, a fighter of the 603rd Engineering Battalion, 7th Brigade "Saar mi-Golan," died in combat in the southern part of the Gaza sector.

Sergeant Gal Hershko, 20, from Iftah, serving as the commander of the 603rd Engineering Battalion in the 7th Brigade 'Saar mi-Golan,' was killed in combat in the southern sector of Gaza.

Sergeant Itamar Shemen, 21, from Lapid, a paramedic in the 77th Battalion of the 7th Brigade 'Saar mi-Golan,' was killed in combat in the southern sector of Gaza.

Reserve Staff Sergeant Nadav Issachar Farkhi, aged 30, from Herzliya, serving as a paramedic in the 7810th Battalion of the 11th Armored Brigade 'Iftah,' was killed in combat in the central area of the Gaza sector.

Reserve Staff Sergeant Eliyahu Meir Ohana, aged 28, from Haifa, a fighter in the 7810th Battalion of the 11th Armored Brigade 'Iftah,' was killed in combat in the central area of the Gaza sector.

Between October 31st and December 24th, 151 IDF (Israel Defense Forces) service members lost their lives during the ground operation in Gaza.

Reserve Senior Sergeant Eliasaf Shoshan, 23 years old, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the 6646th Battalion of the 646th Brigade 'Shualei Marom,' was killed in action in the central area of the Gaza sector.

Reserve Senior Sergeant Ohad Ashur, 23 years old, from Kfar Yona, a fighter in the 6646th Battalion of the 646th Brigade 'Shualei Marom,' was killed in action in the central area of the Gaza sector.

Additionally, five other service members sustained severe injuries: two from the 7th Brigade, two from the 6646th Battalion of the 646th Brigade, and one from the 7810th Battalion of the 11th Brigade.
