Covering religious and ultra-Orthodox communities, Army Radio, operated by the Israel Defense Forces, has reported that 180 ultra-Orthodox men have signed up to enter volunteer service in combat units this week.

This is approximately the same number as in 2022 and 70 people fewer than the stated goal.

114 draftees will serve in the 97th Netzah Yehuda Battalion, 34 in the Givati Brigade, 23 in the paratrooper brigade, and 11 in the Air Force base security unit at Nevatim Airbase.
