Over 1,000 military personnel, mostly reservists, are engaged in the ongoing anti-terror operation in Tulkarm, now in its 40th hour.

During the mission, they've neutralized over 400 explosive devices, strategically placed to hinder army movement in the city.

According to Kan-11 TV correspondent Carmel Dangor, militants have fortified positions and utilized camouflage to evade detection from above.

So far, three explosive factories have been found and demolished, with 8 militants killed, half of them by airstrikes.
