Construction Minister Yitzchak Goldknopf has directed the Israel Land Administration to immediately shut down the offices of the United Nations Relief Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Jerusalem and other areas of Israel.

In an official letter addressed to the Director General of the Israel Land Authority, Yenkee Quint, the Minister of Construction, instructed the authority to promptly remove the UNRWA organization from the premises under its control.

The document states, "This dangerous organization serves Hamas, participated in the October 7 massacre, and there is mounting evidence of its long-standing support, assistance, and training of Palestinians to attack Israel."

According to the minister, UNRWA utilized its facilities to facilitate communications for Hamas's network of bomb tunnels in Gaza, thus exploiting lands belonging to the State of Israel for activities against it.

“I ask you to immediately stop any contact of the Land Administration with the criminal organization UNRWA and remove them from the territories allocated to them and, in general, from all Israeli territories that this organization uses,” said Yitzhak Goldknopf.

The minister requested that the Land Office furnish him with an updated list of sites and premises currently occupied by UNRWA, along with the dates of their evacuation. The letter specifies addresses, including Ma'alot Dafna in Jerusalem (site numbers 31331, 31405, and 30097) and Kokhav Ya'akov (site number 29511).
