The Israeli government's narrow war cabinet has decided to send a delegation to Paris to negotiate the release of Israeli citizens kidnapped by Hamas militants.
The negotiations will involve CIA Director William Burns, Egyptian military intelligence head Abbas Kamel, and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed al-Thani.
