The IDF command is exploring the possibility of establishing a military yeshiva for ultra-Orthodox conscripts along Israel’s border with Jordan, as reported by Ynet.

This initiative is among several aimed at reaching a compromise to facilitate the conscription of the ultra-Orthodox population into military service in the IDF.

Under this proposal, students at the military yeshiva would engage in both academic study and border patrol duties within the designated section of the border.

It's worth noting that today, the High Court is expected to issue a decision regarding claims seeking to eliminate exemptions for the ultra-Orthodox population from military service.
