Israeli media outlets report, citing informed sources, that Israel demands information on the number of surviving hostages from Hamas as a condition for further negotiations, rather than their names as previously reported.
Israel also demands that Hamas answer the question of how many Palestinian prisoners will need to be released in exchange for each Israeli hostage.
On the night of March 3, Qatar informed Israel that Hamas rejected the Paris truce proposals and did not provide a list of surviving Israeli hostages. As a result, Israel decided not to sent a team to Cairo for further negotiations.
