The IDF Spokesperson's Unit has officially confirmed that on the morning of March 13, a soldier sustained minor injuries in a terrorist attack at a checkpoint south of Jerusalem.

According to reports, the terrorist responsible for the attack was neutralized by a member of the Erez battalion and a civilian guard.

The incident occurred at 8:27 a.m. on March 13, when a stabbing attack was reported at a checkpoint near a tunnel on Route 60, south of Jerusalem. The assailant was subsequently shot dead.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service stated that a 25-year-old man and a 19-year-old girl were injured, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were transported to Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek and Hadassah Ein Kerem hospitals for treatment.

Subsequent police clarification revealed that the terrorist attack was perpetrated by a 15-year-old Arab teenager who approached the checkpoint on a bicycle, brandished a knife, and attacked military personnel and security guards.

Initially, a civilian guard opened fire on the assailant, followed by the military.
