Last week, engineering units of the IDF's 162nd Division, in collaboration with engineering special forces "Yahalom," demolished the longest terrorist tunnel in the Gaza Strip, connecting the northern and southern regions. The tunnel stretched over 2.5 kilometers in length.
The IDF is currently finalizing efforts to destroy the entire tunnel system, which spans approximately 12 kilometers in total. Additionally, work is ongoing to identify any new terrorist tunnels that may exist.
