At 14:00 on March 25, rocket warning sirens were heard in the coastal city of Ashdod for the first time in over two months. Eight rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, according to the IDF.

The last attack was recorded on January 14. Local residents reported hearing explosions.

The IDF says two of the rockets were intercepted, while the rest struck open areas. There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The rate of rocket fire from Gaza has slowed significantly in recent months as the IDF continues its ground operation against Hamas.
