On May 1, IDF forces, along with General Security Service (Shin Bet) and Border Police (MAGAV) officers, apprehended nine suspected terrorists in Judea and Samaria. The detainees were transferred to Shin Bet investigators for interrogation.

Operations were conducted in various locations including Duma, al Fawar, Ein 'Arik, Dheisheh, Umm al-Sharayet, Jericho (Aqabat Jabr and Ein Al Sultan), and Azzun, resulting in the confiscation of weapons and ammunition.

Clashes ensued during the operations. In Azzun, an explosive device was thrown at Israeli soldiers. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the Israeli military during these operations in Judea and Samaria over the past 24 hours.

Since the onset of the conflict on October 7, 2023, approximately 3,850 individuals suspected of terrorism have been detained in the Palestinian Authority, with around 1,650 of them having affiliations with Hamas.
