Defense Minister Yoav Gallant delivered a speech at the ceremony commemorating those killed in Israel's wars. The ceremony was held in the Hall of Fame on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
"We are engaged in a war that has been thrust upon us by our adversaries, a conflict that will shape our future for decades to come," Gallant stated.
He continued, "This war will persist until we secure the return of the hostages, until we dismantle the power of Hamas in Gaza, neutralizing its military capabilities. The struggle will endure until the prosperity of our nation is restored and smiles return to the faces of our citizens."
