On Friday, January 5, the secretary-general of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech to his supporters, detailing the actions taken by the terrorist organization on the border with Israel. Al-Manar TV reported Nasrallah's speech.

He stated that since the beginning of the war, Hezbollah has carried out 670 operations on the border. "We conducted 6-7 operations per day. There wasn't a single border outpost that wasn't hit several times. 48 border outposts were attacked more than once. Hezbollah carried out 494 attacks, targeting technical and intelligence equipment along the border," he said.

"These objects were attacked not only with anti-tank weapons but also using various other means," he added, emphasizing that such Hezbollah tactics "are exhausting Israel."

"Our operations were very taxing for the enemy, who maintained extreme secrecy regarding its losses," Nasrallah stated. "From the beginning, we have said that our actions in the south aim to exert pressure on the enemy and draw some of its forces away from the Gaza sector."

In Israel, it is believed that Nasrallah's speech is primarily aimed at the Lebanese audience and is intended to justify the losses suffered by Hezbollah since October 7, 2023.
