Muhammad al-Hindi, Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group, stated in an interview with Al-Mayadeen that Israel lost its deterrent power on the night of April 14.

According to al-Hindi, the entire Israeli strategy of containing Iran has crumbled, and the balance of power is shifting. He added that with America preoccupied by its own issues, Israel can no longer rely on its support for regional dominance. These, he claimed, are the new dynamics.

He further asserted that the United States is disinclined towards a regional conflict, especially given the upcoming elections. Al-Hindi accused the West of overlooking the "crimes committed by the occupiers in the Gaza Strip" and being complicit in them.

Touching on negotiations with Israel, al-Hindi referred to prisoners as the "trump card of the resistance." He reiterated that any agreement could only occur after the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza.
