According to Fox News, Republican congressmen introduced a bill in the House of Representatives suggesting that individuals guilty of illegal activities at American universities be expelled to the Gaza Strip for at least six months.

Though the bill doesn't mention Israel, it directly addresses the illegal demonstrations sparked by the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, the channel notes. Those involved would be encouraged to do community service in affected areas.

Texas Congressman Randy Weber, a bill sponsor, stated, "Students have disrupted classes and harassed others, even leading to canceled graduation ceremonies. It's time to stop this. If you support terrorists, face the consequences."

Weber also expressed confidence that these individuals wouldn't last a day in Gaza, saying, "But we must give them that opportunity."
