The IDF has announced another death of an Israeli soldier in Gaza. Staff Sgt. Nisim Kachlon, 21, was killed during fighting against Hamas in the Khan Younis area of the southern Gaza Strip earlier today.
Kachlon served in the Givati Brigade's Rotem Battalion. He was from Hadera.
His death brings the toll of slain troops in the ground offensive against Hamas to 253.
596 IDF soldiers have been killed as a result of terrorist attacks on October 7 and hostilities in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and near the border with Lebanon.
