Vandals have desecrated a Holocaust memorial located at the former concentration camp site in Drancy, just a few kilometers from Paris.

Jacques Witkovsky, the department head of Seine-Saint-Denis, informed reporters that the glass on the facility's façade was shattered by the impact of a lead shot. Witkovsky strongly condemned this "antisemitic act."

According to i24 News, this incident marks the fourth act of vandalism on the memorial's grounds since October 7.

Jacques Fredge, the memorial's director, emphasized that "the unprecedented rise in antisemitism in France underscores the crucial nature of the educational efforts carried out by the Drancy memorial."
