Two Palestinians, who infiltrated the territory of the Makouk Farm outpost in the Binyamin region, were detained near residential buildings. One of them reportedly was armed with an axe.
The Palestinians were apprehended by a soldier guarding the settlement.
According to security service suspicions, the Palestinians arrived in a stolen car. Army and police arrived at the scene, conducting searches to eliminate the possibility of a terrorist attack.
The IDF says the pair planned to carry out a terror attack at the Makouk Farm, close to the Palestinian village of Wadi as-Seeq.
Axes and knives were found in their vehicle, according to the IDF.
The terrorists were handed over to the Shin Bet for further interrogation.
